Review: MP-17 Masterpiece Prowl

The Masterpiece series continues with the next Autobot car - MP-17 Prowl   G1 Prowl transforms into a Nissan Fairlady 280Z-T police car, and MP-17's alt mode is an excellent replica.

Even though this Fairlady design is 30 years old, it doesn't looked dated at all!

 As nice as the alt mode is, MP-17's bot mode is simply terrific! I admit I was a little underwhelmed with MP-12 Sideswipe's bot mode. Thankfully, MP-17 doesn't disappoint.

 With a bit of manipulation, Prowl can hold his rifle with both hands. FTW!

Even though I was disappointed with MP-12, I still ended up getting all its repaints - MP-14 Alert and MP-12T Tigertrack. MP-17 already has 2 upcoming repaints - MP-18 Bluestreak and MP-19 Smokescreen. Looks like I'll be getting them as well?? :O

    You should do a post on how you do your photography setup. Yes, I know dark room, bright single light, but what about camera settings, backdrop, table, camera distances, etc?

    Good idea! Yeah I can do that. Actually, no dark room for me. Just a dark wooden table and black velvet cloth for backdrop. :)
