STGCC 2013 - my recap and musings

After skipping the previous two year's convention, I am SO glad I attended STGCC 2013! There are so many booths, events, panels, signings etc that any fan of pop culture will definitely find something interesting there.

Entrace to STGCC
The main highlight this year is definitely IRON MAN You cannot miss all the Iron Man figures on display around the hall, as well as numerous life-size statues. There are tons of photos of the displays online, so I will only post a few here.

Life-size Hall of Armor by Hot Toys and Action City. This display is an exact replica of the Hall of Armor from Tony Stark’s Malibu mansion, with the Mark XLII as centrepiece.

Play Imaginative's also had their own Hall of Armor display of their new Super Alloy Iron Man figures.

One reason I decided to attend STGCC this year is to get the Uglydoll x Hello Kitty plushies! Their booth is the first one I rushed to when I entered the convention hall LOL!

Big highlight for wife and me is getting tokidoki creator Simone Legno to autograph our tokidoki stuff! I already posted about it here

And of course, after attending a con there's always a huge pile of loot! Photos of our loot from both days! :D
