Review: iGear PP05 (part 2)

 Continued at Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3

It's been awhile since I was this excited over a Transformer toy. Even with my high expectations, I'm glad to say I'm not disappointed with the actual product.

iGear PP05M & PP05W van alt modes. I'll probably remove the crash bar for PP05M (Ratchet) and add some silver to the windscreen linings and wipers.

The AMBULANCE word printed on PP05M (Ratchet) is laterally inverted. This is intentional and accurate. When drivers look in their rear-view mirror they can read the words correctly, and should give way. Kudos to iGear for this little detail!

The wing mirrors can even be folded in. One complaint is the roof panels don't fit in properly. They tend to pop out either at the front or back. Maybe i need to align them better...

So how do they scale and compare with the updated G1 Autobots from the CHUG ( Classics Henkei United Generations ) series? In vehicle mode, iGear Ratchet and Ironhide scale well with the Deluxe-class cars. Here are the Autobot cars crew of the Ark.

Still missing Trailbreaker, poor guy gets no love from official or third-party.

Stay tuned for Part 3 where I will feature their bot modes!
