Review: Jet Vehicon
Readers might remember I got my shipment of Takara Vehicons from RK beginning of this month. Well, due to lots of distractions (ie. work) I haven't opened them... until now. We finally have some national holidays and I managed to take some photos of AM-16 Jet Vehicon during the break.

Takara Tomy Vehicons
Me and a friend pre-ordered some Takara Tomy AM-14 Vehicons and AM-16 Jet Vehicons from RobotKingdom.com a few months ago. Since the Jet Vehicons are Japan-only release (unless Hasbro change their mind later) we order a couple more of those.
After a long wait, our shipment of Vehicons finally arrived. Let the troop-building begin!

I think I have all versions of the Decepticon Vehicons now, except for Takara Tomy First Edition. (I do have the Hasbro FE though.) Maybe I'll do a version comparison in a future post...

Review: Weaponizer Optimus Prime
Among the Transformers Prime Autobots, the only character I haven't bought a toy for is... Optimus Prime! I guess I knew there will definitely be more versions and repaints released in the future, and was waiting for one that will really wow me.
When I had the opportunity to buy the Weaponizer version at "cheaper than retail even after 20% discount" price, I jumped at the chance to finally own a TF Prime... erm, Prime!

Cyberverse Ultra Magnus
I just got this Cyberverse Commander class Ultra Magnus (at 20% discount!) It is a nice little figure with decent articulation for its size. But it's the alt mode that made me want to buy it.

TF Prime cars - size compare
If you have been collecting the latest Transformers Prime toys, you will notice that the size and scale of the Deluxe-class car figures have been shrinking with the newer waves.
Below is a comparison photo of the TF Prime Deluxe-class cars I have. From Bumblebee (First Edition), Wheeljack (RID wave 1), followed by Ratchet (wave 2) and finally Knock Out and Vehicon (wave 3). Yes I'm missing Cliffjumper. Somehow not keen to get him...

TF Prime Knock Out and Vehicon
The latest TF Prime RID wave 3 has finally hit our local retail shelves. The new characters in this wave are Decepticons Knock Out and Vehicon, and Autobot Hot Shot. I wasn't keen on Hot Shot as he is a recolour of Bumblebee. Good thing I managed to get the two new molds Knock Out and Vehicon on the first day they were released here!

Review: Takara AM-06 Skywarp
The first wave of TakaraTomy Transformers Prime toys started to arrive in Singapore. The special feature of these versions compared to Hasbro's are:
1) They come with arms micron weapons (think of them as minicons)
2) Most markings are stickers instead of painted on.
I bought just one figure from this first wave - AM-06 Skywarp The packaging of the Takara Deluxe class figures is in boxes, similar to the previous Superlink series. I like the boxart and design, but wish they include a window to see the toy inside.

Review: TFP Wheeljack
Wheeljack only appeared in one episode of TF Prime season 1 (episode 8 "Con Job"). But his character proved popular enough to warrant a toy in the first wave of TF Prime Robots in Disguise.
The design of TF Prime Wheeljack is obviously based on the G1 version, with similar face and colour scheme.

The new Robots In Disguise series of Transformers Prime toys is just being released in mass retail. One of the most iconic Decepticon character - Soundwave - is in this series.
