The LEGO Movie
LEGO fans, our wait is over! The LEGO Movie has now opened in cinemas. Reviews so far have been good, so Everything is looking Awesome to a good show when I watch this on Friday!
Even my minifigs can't wait to watch the movie LOL!

Have you watched the movie yet? Does it make you want to open up a Lego set and build something? ;)

Lego Avengers fangirl
Our resident Lego fangirl - Sanae - is also enjoying the Lego Avengers sets. Here she 'assembles' her favourite superheo team.

Yes I know Cap is missing. Who knew the smallest Avengers set (6865: Captain America's Avenging Cycle) would be the hardest to find? >__<

Sibling rivalry, Asgardian style
Thor: "Loki is beyond reason, but he is of Asgard. And he is my brother."
Natasha: "He killed 80 people in two days."
Thor: ... "He's adopted."

I'm having lots of fun with the Lego Avengers sets!

Lego puny god
Loki: "ENOUGH!" You are, all of you, beneath me! I am a god, you dull creature, and I will not be bullied by..."
* grabs... WHAM BAM... SLAM SLAM... BAM WHAM *
Hulk: "Puny god."

Hope everyone will have a better week ahead than Loki! :D

Review
Growing up, I used to pour over the Lego catalogues. As a young boy interested in spaceships, this big set has always been top of my want list. Alas, parents only willing to buy the smaller sets for me.
Fast forward to the present, I saw this set featured in the 2009 LEGO Book by DK and triggered the desire to own it one day. Finally found a complete and reasonable price set on Bricklink, and here it is!

Review: Transformers KRE-O Megatron truck mode
As mentioned in my review of the bot mode, I had to disassemble the Megatron bot mode before fixing up his alt mode. I must say, I'm glad the parts are compatible with Lego's Brick Separator. Really saved my fingernails!
Here is Megatron in his tractor unit alt mode! Similar to his DOTM alt mode.I didn't include the front spikes on the crash bar because I like this better, looks more 'realistic'.

After Kre-O Mirage, I bought a second Kre-O - MEGATRON! - and counldn't wait to fix him up.

Review: Transformers KRE-O Mirage
My review from Open The Toy
Curiosity got the better of me. I bought one Transformers Kre-O set just to see how it is and compare it with the other "leading brand" aka Lego. I chose to get Autobot Mirage because it is the cheapest set (hee!), and it looks the most compatible with Lego City cars.
Contents of the Autobot Mirage Kre-O set. As can be seen on the box label, all the parts "works with leading brands". The 2 Kreons minifigs are packed separately. Argh, sticker sheet! :(
