Toys loot - Tokyo April 2014
Wife and I went for an impromptu holiday to Tokyo... yes, again! Wife has never seen the sakura cherry blossoms in full bloom, so we decided to take this chance. Besides cherry blossom viewing and hanami, of course we also plan for toy shopping! We didn't buy as much as our previous trips, but we're happy with our purchases.
Firstly, our Yotsuba & Danboard loot! We came across this Yotsuba & Danboard exhibition being held at Sunshine 60 observatory in Ikebukuro, and were pleasantly surprised to find some great stuff there. We bought the Ts because of the Danbo peeping out from the pocket. Even the shirt label is a Danbo face, too cute!

Lego haul for Feb/Mar 2014
The Lego Movie has set off a renewed wave of interest in Lego. Coincidentally (or not?), Bricks World - a Lego monobrand store - also held its annual storewide sale, and I took this chance to buy a set I've been eyeing on.
So here's my haul during the sale!

10236 Ewok Village
70802 Bad Cop's Pursuit
30302 Spider-Man polybag (free gift!)
Unikitty LED Lite <= wife loves this!

Lego X-Wing MicroFighter
Lego just released the new Star Wars MicroFighters series. These are chibi (small) Star Wars vehicles with minifigures sitting outside them - too big to fully fit inside. And they are cute! I just bought my first set: Lego 75032 X-Wing Fighter

Bishoujo Jaina Solo
I've been interested in the Kotobukiya Bishoujo (beautiful girl) series statues for a while now. Finally picked up my first piece - Jaina Solo from Star Wars!

Jedi Duffy
Duffy the Disney Bear in Jedi Knight outfit - protecting us from bad dreams while we sleep!
His lightsaber is a Kotobukiya light-up chopstick lightsaber. Too big to fit 1/6 scale figures, I'm glad I finally found someone who can wield it. :)

Red Panda, standing by
After the Optimus Prime T, another of Qwertee's design caught my eye. Here it is: "Red Panda, standing by"

I've always been a huge Star Wars fan. And that red panda is just so cute!

Pullip Clothes and Accessories
My article from Open The Toy blog Photos and dolls credit to my wife Akane*
It is a given that Pullips, like all fashion dolls, can change clothes. Most clothes for Barbie and other 12-inch figures can fit.
