Transformers Jetfire (Leader-class)

When I was young, one of my favourite Transformers is Autobot Jetfire. Not because of the cartoon or comics, but because the G1 toy was a Macross VF-1S Valkyrie fighter/mecha. Yes, I was a fan of Macross even before Transformers. ;)

Of course, Hasbro was never able to reissue Jetfire based on that design due to licence issue. But this Generations Leader-class Jetfire comes pretty darn close, down to the rocket boosters!



The whole packaging and boxart is impressive! Makes you wanna pick it up from the toy aisle.






The bot mode is definitely different from a Valkyrie's battroid mode. Looks more like Classics/Henkei Voyager-class Jetfire.

There is also a third-party Jetfire/Skyfire released at the same time - Kronos by the company Daca Toys. I will be getting it too and will take more photos with this official Jetfire!
